What is the difference between "Rosary" and "Chaplet"?

ok lets start with the chaplet
A Chaplet is a short (5 min?) prayer that is said on a Rosary.
There are many different Chaplets. All are usually very easy to recite and memorize.
Probably the most popular chaplet, certainly the most powerful is the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

It is very easy to do and very easily memorized.
Now on to the Rosary
The Rosary is two things
1st It is an object.
2nd it's a prayer
One prays a Rosary on a Rosary. It takes about 15 mins.
It's a little longer to memorize but very worth it in the end as it brings with it a incalculable amount of graces and blessings from God.

THERE ARE FIFTEEN PROMISES OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN TO CHRISTIANS WHO FAITHFULLY PRAY THE ROSARY

12 To those who propagate my Rosary I promise aid in all their necessities.
13 I have obtained from my Son that all the members of the Rosary Confraternity shall have as their intercessors, in life and in death, the entire celestial court.
14 Those who recite my Rosary faithfully are my beloved children, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.
15 Devotion to my Rosary is a special sign of predestination.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy COMPLETE!!! (Part 1/2)
Devout Catholic looking for more devotional prayers to pray. Does anyone have anymore?
I would like some more devotional prayers to pray. I already pray the Rosary and I have prayed the Divine Chaplet of Mercy a couple times. Is there anymore Catholic devotionals you could teach me. If not that's ok tell me what devotions you do. thanks.
i pray from my heart too, i also want some other devotionals beside that.
In my humble opinion, personal prayer is not something that should be recited and repeated. Remember that God is your loving Heavenly Father and wants to hear whats is in your heart. I personally believe that God is not impressed with recited prayers but is likely pleased with the effort and desire to pray. My advise would be to wing it! Speak from your heart, God is closer than you think and would love to hear about your struggles and successes. I try to be completely honest, grateful, sincere and penitant.
