jesus Print
I found a box with a print of Mary, baby Jesus, and Joseph on the outside.?
inside is a crucifix, 2 small glasses, a spoon, 2 candles, a bottle of holy water, and a cloth. There are spaces in the box for all these things, so its definitely made for some kind of sacrament or ritual. Any ideas what this is?
As a Catholic all I can think of is perhaps Baptism supplies. A Holy oil is used to make the shape of a Cross on the person's head and water is used for the baptism... which would account for the 2 small glasses. At least one Godparent lights a candle as a symbol of the light of Christ to be kept shining brightly in the person so the other candle might be a spare. In Church they always use a cloth to wipe off the baby's head a bit after they pour water all over it. I'm not sure about the spoon but depending on the size and shape it might be used to scoop water or scoop out some oil.
