Guard crucifix

Strange Spiritual Dream? Meaning?
I'll spare you the details. Basically, it went like this-
I was in a house that I've never seen before. It was very nice. I think I was at a social gathering and I was wealthy. I was talking to a Catholic priest and he said, "Come with me." and I went with him. I asked him what he wanted to talk to me about and then, he said, "You've been taken.". Before I could react, two muscular guards grabbed my arms and dragged me to the ground. The priest then pulled out a crucifix and started to perform an exorcism. Suddenly, I felt ultra lightweight and I had the sense that I was falling (I was sleeping on the floor at the time). It was as if someone took me to the top of a skyscraper and I was standing on the very edge. I was terrified and woke up.
Anybody know what this dream means?
I'm a Baptist.
I wasn'tactually on top of a skyscraper in my dream. My body FELT that way.
It would be helpful to know a little about your religious beliefs, although the dream may just be using them as symbols for something else, it would make a difference if you are very religious vs atheist.
A house you've never seen before is yourself in unfamiliar circumstances (the house represents your life). Being wealthy might mean you were feeling some sort of abundance in life or an increase in your own self-worth.
The priest represents any kind of spiritual authority, even an aspect of yourself. If someone said "You've been taken" in real life it would mean you had been fooled in some way. I wonder if you've recently come to some kind of new belief and feeling the old beliefs were a sham.
So the exorcism often represents a getting rid of beliefs, but it's like you have to be held down and forced.
It's really interesting that you felt lightweight. You obviously felt you'd been weighed down, held back by these beliefs, and now you felt lighter. But of course if you were lighter you would float, not fall. So there's a bit of a disconnect.
Falling often represents a lack of support, or a setback in life. Maybe you feel without these old beliefs you have nothing to stabilize or support you. The terror you feel is real and it's something you haven't dealt with in your daily waking life.
Any of that make sense to you? Please let us know and please vote for a best answer. Thanks for sharing.
ADD: I wanted to add that although this dream is seemingly about religion it could be about any type of beliefs. It's all symbols!
