Templar Cross Pendant?
I have a necklace that I happened on my chance. I have come to find out it's called the Templar Cross, and it has writing on the back of it that I can't make out.
Starts out CATH: B.V.M then TRV- RON ECC:
Can anyone help me make this out? I got curious because this is a piece I wear all the time, and I was offered 1000 for it today. Got me wondering what the heck I've been wearing this whole time (I've had it for about 6 years now.)

The Knights Templar were formed after the crusades to protect those making pilgrimages to the holy land (Jerusalem) when the pope Innocent said any making this pilgrimage would be insured into heaven and many were making the trip. It was the job of the Templar's to protect the passage way from Paris to the holy land because the pilgrimages were being robbed along the way.
To help their purpose the Templar's would have the pilgrimages drop off their belongings at Paris and they would give them a note with secret Templar codes for their belongings and had many stops on the way where pilgrimages could exchange the note for their items hence creating the first "banking system" in the world, that way passengers would be less vulnerable to thieves.
As you can imagine the Templar's became extremely wealthy and owned lots of property around Europe and particularly France. The Crusades at the time were beginning to fail and King Philip the Fair of France was in debt from numerous wars and hardships. He saw the Templars as a financial giant and on October 13 a Friday (the reason Friday the 13th is unlucky) Philip the “not so” Fair rounded up thousands of known Templars and burned them at the stake all over France and seized all of their property.
The head of the Templars at the time was James of Molay (Jacques DeMolay) and he was taken to prison and was asked to reveal the names of the unknown Templars and the rest of their properties. He with his fellow Templar Guy of Auvergne refused to do so for 7 years and they were brutally tortured, when Jacques DeMolay said he would finally tell. He was taken out in front of a crowd, but he did not tell instead he condemned the King. This infuriated King Philip and rushed him to an unfair trial where there were false confessions and charges brought against him. In the end the Commission found them not guilty but the King and his fellow Lord Constable overrode their verdict and hastily rushed DeMolay and Auvergne to the stake on an island near the Cathedral of Notre Dame, thus ending the heroic order of the Knights Templar
The Symbols were used to write the notes for their banking system and at the time only known by members of their Fraternity
