Can you help me find a necklace like the one I had as a child?
I had a cross necklace with a tiny circle in the middle made of glass. When one held it to the light and looked through the small glass circle one could see written inside “ The Lords Prayer”. I’ve lost my childhood necklace and would like to find another for my grandchild.
I couldn’t seem to find the necklace you were looking for on the websites I usually shop for Jewelry, so I checked the Ruby Lane website, which is a website that carries antiques mostly. They have one listed on their site for $30.00 with $6.50 shipping. This is what it says:
A Vintage Stanhope Gold tone Cross / Crucifix Pendant Necklace . Featuring 4 brilliant rhinestones. Peek into the viewer on the front of the crucifix and view " The Lord’s Prayer ". In good vintage condition with the image clear and crisp. The cross is approx. 1 1/4" by 3/4". Shipping $ 6.50. Item ID: 05144

Due to the fact that you had one when you were a child, and you are wanting to get it for your grandchild, I was thinking along the lines of "Antique" (not meaning you’re old or anything), but they also have a necklace at Amazon to fit the description for $29.99 plus $4.95 shipping.

Religious cross symbol?
My boyfriend has a necklace that he received at a junior retreat for his jesuit high school. It is a circle with a cross in the middle, but the vertical line of the cross is the letter P. Does anyone know what this could mean?
It sounds like a version of the chi rho, which stand for the word "Christ" in Greek.
