catholic Charm why does being wiccan make me depressed and being catholic make me wiccan ?
i grew up to be catholic but i switched to being wiccan but i am always going back and forth with being those religions . now today i just want to be wiccan and wear my crystal and pentigram ! everything i say do think and feel is about magic/witchcraft ! i love charmed too ! i feel all the people i know are sad because i am wiccan and they act like anybody who is wiccan is in need of mental health meds and therapy .
If your idea of Wicca is based on Charmed, it is no wonder you are depressed. Unrealistic expectations can make you depressed.
Wiccan is a religion, it is not about necklaces and magic. It is about honouring and revering nature and the gods and goddesses.
I also think it is unrealistic that you base your choice of religion on what makes other people happy. I am Pagan, and proud of it. Those that love me accept my choice. Those that cannot accept it are not worth my time. People who have a negative opinion of Wicca are ignorant and intolerant, and anyone who makes you feel bad about your choice of religion is just being plain selfish.
No offence to Mexicans, but I know your ethnicity tends to be very catholic and religious. Ok, So this boy named Patricio gave me his real gold baptismal charm to wear for 5 days.
