sterling angel are you receiving emails that says you are a lottery winner?hahaha! just so you would know...?
i did. there were six , 4 from the UK and two from nigeria, all refers to a 1million +++ sterling/ pounds/ dollars. I thought about it for a while, coz i hav been praying that i win in the lottery here in our country, & these emails came pouring in last july 4! Answered prayers? Nah...just a bunch of junk letters! but i wanted to see how far they would go, so i gave out my full name, address, blah blah blah, with a little story, that i am a plain housewife w/ 2 kids in elemntary & my husband is working as a postal clerk,& told them that they were my angels coz my kids' eucational plan went bankrupt & that I couldn't get any remittance,& that we get by somehow from my husband's meager salary & that i have no international passport...only 3 responded, saying that i will only pay them around 270 dollars via western Union money transfer & my cheque will be delivered within 24 hrs!I answered back telling them that I have forwarded their messages to complaints section@yahoo.com....
Dozens a day. Shocking how many people think it makes sense to pay thousands of dollars to get a check delivered.
My fiance does not wear any jewelry. I was thinking of getting him a claddaugh style wedding band since he's part Irish and knows the meaning of the claddagh. For those of you who don't know what that is, see below:
What do you think?
There's a reason behind the design. Did you click the link?
I didn't know what tungsten rings were until now. Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm not crazy about it as a wedding ring.
If you want something simple/plain just go for a sterling silver band, or he might like tungsten. My hubby wasn't into jewelry and told me that he'd only wear his ring for special occassions. After the wedding, some people at work commented that he wasn't wearing his ring and he now wears it everyday.
I have something strange but unique that I want to sell on ebay. I was wondering if anyone knows what category things like the grilled cheese with the face of Jesus or the Florida snow, or the Indiana shapped Pretzel were sold on. I could put them under collectables but would they get noticed??? Any ideas out there??? Thanks
When I can't decide on a category, I just go to the Ebay site and search by keyword to see what category everyone else has chosen. So if you search JESUS IMAGE under completed items, there was a door under Collectibles > Religions, Spirituality > Christianity > Icons. I think that's where I would list.
.
